The nice thing about Firefox internal updates from Mozilla and downloads from www.mozilla.org and www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ is you only get a clean Firefox. It comes with no trojans, virus, adware, malware, bundled software, keyloggers, etc that people have claimed Firefox came with in a install or update over the years.

If you are going to make this claim please give more details and state what antivirus or scanner made this claim and where these so called Trojans were located.

If in the Firefox Cache then they are harmless while there and left alone until overwritten.

It is not uncommon for some antivirus clients to make a false positive after a new Firefox release or update especially if the antivirus got a recent definitions update.

Also if your claim was true that the recent Firefox 44.0.2 install or update came with Trojans, this would not be the only thread in last couple days.

A little searching shows Clam,AV was doing false positives in giving Bancos2115 trojan claim recently on many different applications. http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=45643
