Hello,

I work in Tech Support, for a company called Xpres in the UK. On our Tech Support 'site, when typing, the backspace button doesn't work 99% of the time. This only ever happens in Firefox - all other browsers work without issue.

It is as though the cursor is disappearing during typing, even though text is still displayed when typing.

The issue is in an application called 'OSTicket' - nothing else, so i shall contact them also.

If you could help in any way, that would be appreciated.

Many thanks.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

Hello, thanks for the help. However, the problem exists in Safe mode also.

Start https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

1. Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance 2. Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Hello Amit,

I am running the default theme already. Unfortunately, this hasn't resolved the issue.

One last thing; Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe web sites. Is the problem still there?
