I am using TB 38.72, Win 7 Pro. When I try to use print preview I get an error message saying it cannot find the print, but if I hit the print button it prints just fine. Print preview works in all my other programs. I tried disabling AdBlock and that did not help. I pulled up the troubleshooter files and in the "Important Modified Preferences" sections it shows an HP printer model I do not have. I don't know where this came from or if it makes a difference since it will print, just not print preview.

thank you for any help.

Chosen solution

The settings appear ok. The only options are for settings margins, footers, etc. The printer works ok and prints what it is supposed to but print preview gives me the error message "cannot find printer" This does not happen with other programs.

later this day!!!

I finally went to tools, options, advanced, config editor and changed 'print.print' to default. I guess it some how got configured to a different printer that I don't even own. Computer gremlins no doubt.

Have you tried going to File > Page Setup and checking that it is set correctly for the printer you do have?

On the current version, as of this date, there is no access to config editor, via the described route.
