I just copied and pasted into a Thunderbird e-mail, some of which was bold-faced in the original. How can I undo the boldface in the message?

Chosen solution

select the whole message or the affected parts, click the bold button on the toolbar twice (slowly, this is not a double click as such)

The first click will set all to bold, the second will turn it off.

If only bold text is selected, the fist click will turn it to not bold.
