When I request a sync verification no email is sent or received.
When I click the verify email address button for sync it indicates that an email has been sent. However, using Windows Live Mail, no email is received. I checked my email using web access to see if something was being blocked but nothing is. As far as I can tell no email was sent.

A follow up: When I set up the Mozilla Support account I verified using the very same email address. It works. So it is definitely a Firefox related issue. I also tried before any plugins were installed.
