Problem Loading MyHeritage Matches With Firefox

more options

Until a week or two ago, I was able to load my matches at myheritage.com/DNA. You could either go to the DNA drop-down and selected DNA matches, or the "Review DNA matches" in the top left-hand corner. All of a sudden you just get the buffering circle and they never load. MyHeritage can not produce the problem on their end, and then when they asked me to use another browser, everything worked just fine.

What I'm confused about is that I hadn't changed any settings that account for this issue. They thought it was a cache issue, but I have my settings to clear out everything when the browser closes. If I haven't manually changed anything, what is most likely the problem? I'm not running a whole bunch of add-ons or anything.

Hi, try a clean reinstall, so : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 61.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

This did not work. I copied my profile folder and uninstalled (and I always do the usual system clean-ups after every restart, anyway), but when I reinstalled, I didn't have to copy back over my copied profile. All my profiles were still there. I never had to deleted the Firefox folder in program files, either, because when I uninstalled, it was no longer there in the program files. I'm not sure what's going on.

In any case, this did not solve my problem. I still can not see my matches in Firefox at MyHeritageDNA, and get only the buffering symbol for eternity. Whereas I can access this page in all my other browsers.

I should mention, too, what has me more confused about his is that no only do I regularly clean out my system files, but my default setting on Firefox is to clean out everything upon the close of a session. They suspected it may have been a cache issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Stab in the dark, but would you take a look at this article and see if maybe something there applies to your situation :

So, I tried the uninstall and reinstall, again. Still didn't work. So I went and refreshed it, which required me to lose my settings and such...and then it worked. Weird that the full uninstall and clean reinstall didn't work, but the refresh did. I would like to not have to do an extreme option like that in the future.
