Can't get FEBE for Firefox to download from MajorGeeks, and was banned from site because of error in verification system. Can anyone assist me in fixing it? I tried to contact someone from MajorGeeks to fix the error, bit no direct contact possible, and now because of the spam protection system got banned from access, and as noted before can't contact MajorGeeks to fix the error. Again can anyone help to get in contact with MajorGeeks to fix the error. I think the error was the repeated attempts to get a working install for the Firefox FEBE (Backup Add-on). The file download repeatedly failed as MajorGeeks site kept on telling the file was possibly corrupt. Thanks in advance for your assist in fixing the problems with both FEBE, and MajorGeeks. My E-mail is: Lightsttn1@AOL.com.

Why ask in a Firefox support forum?

FEBE isn't compatible with Firefox any longer.

Compatible with PaleMoon and that's about it, now. http://softwarebychuck.com/febe/febe.html#latest

Can you help with the other problem caused by the repeated failed FEBE downloads that got me banned from access to MajorGeeks site? I can't find a way to contact them directly, and can't use the forums till I can get the errant ban lifted. Can you contact someone from MajorGeeks to assist me please? I am the Administrator of my LAN. I know this might normally not be something you can do, but in this case I think you should please help fix the problem. Thanks in Advance for your help in getting the errant ban lifted on MajorGeeks. Thanks Again. P.S. What do I use to replace FEBE, and how can I access my FEBE files to use valuable information that would otherwise be lost? Why no more use of FEBE? Thanks Again.

Hello Lightsttn1,

Have you been banned from their support forum  ?

https://forums.majorgeeks.com

Have you tried sending an email to one of the Administrators  ?

I'm afraid that there is nothing we can do about it ......

Would you take a look at this thread and see if what's suggested there will work for you as well :

I have asked a fellow contributor, who used to use FEBE, to take a look at this and maybe he can tell you how to access your FEBE
files .....

Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles.{web link} I use an add-on that makes backups of my user profile, Just In Case. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the current Firefox.

Every now and then, open the profile folder and create a copy of the current profile as is to another location on your hard drive. This way you will have a backup.

If you do this each day, you will not lose much data. This should be done with Firefox Closed.

Note: In case you need to restore from these backups, you may need to overwrite old or corrupted files.

Unless you can get a working copy, about all you can do is to try using a text reading program.
