My bookmark bar disappeared from the top of the screen. It is now either a right or a left sidebar. End I want my top bookmark bar back! :) Tried all the usual help topics; nothing works. The sidebars keep popping up. Any ideas how to solve this are highly apreciated. Please note that I tried all "solutions" that Firefox gave me.

Chosen solution

A problem with the Bookmarks Toolbar disappearing can be caused by a problem with using "Restore Previous Session" as the startup setting, so if you restore the session automatically on the next start then try to disable this feature.

  • Options/Preferences -> General -> Startup

Once the Bookmarks Toolbar has reappeared then you can re-enable the "Restore Previous Session" startup setting and check if the Bookmarks Toolbar stays visible on next starts.
