T-bird msg, sending password did not succeed mail server (in-use) another session after I access my Roadrunner email account with my iPhone, android works ok.
I have been using T-bird for 7 months with my Roadrunner email account and also accessing this account with my android phone with no problems. I got a new iPhone Xs and it can access my Roadrunner email with no problem. But, after I use my iPhone, T-bird gets error msg sending password did not succeed mail server responded (in-use) account locked by another session. After some time (1 to 4) minutes I stop getting this error msg when I use T-bird. HELP..

That message :' error msg sending password did not succeed mail server responded (in-use) account locked by another session. '
This came from the server not Thunderbird. The server is blocking access and it tells you this. The account has been locked by the server. Thunderbird cannot get access if the server has locked access because another session opened by iphone is still activated.
I did locate someone else with same issue. They also use roadrunner, Thunderbird and iphone.
Is the iphone accessing using imap or pop? It sounds like the iphone is still connected to server.
