Hi Gotlieb, do you still have physical access to your Mac to pull files off?

What problems have you had connecting to your Sync account?

IMPORTANT: Do not reset your Firefox Account password, that can erase all the data in the account.

Hi

This breaks me, no I do not have access to the Mac anymore. I also resettted the password because I had forgotten it.

Thanks for the reply

I just noticed you said I could pull files, one of my desktops will have it intact and not opened. How do I copy these off?

Once again, thank you for the reply.

Hi Gotlieb, on the PC with the files, don't Sync in case that is causing the problem. You may want to sneak around behind Firefox's back in this case.

Set Windows to show hidden files and folders:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files

Then you can use this shortcut to point File Explorer to your Firefox profile folders:

%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

You may have one folder there (with a partially random name like a23by4g0.default) or multiple folders. Check which one is most up-to-date and make a copy of that folder to something like a USB flash drive to recover data into your other Firefox.

The following article lists the specific files that contain different Firefox data: Recovering important data from an old profile.

I realize that's not a complete step-by-step. Let us know how far you get and if you get stuck.

Thank you. Was lucky enough to have the old profile, will be cautious next time.
