Until recently, the site always worked well with Firefox. But now Firefox does not properly load or display https://www.roadscholar.org

In the weird layout I found this message from the site included (see below), which displays a link to update Firefox. However, my Firefox help tab says I have the current update (v.79.0 for 64 bit Windows pc's). What is the fix? Will you contact the website? Thank you.

Thank you very much. Re-listing Firefox in the Firewall, Clearning cache and cookies, and also running malbytes, sped up Firefox but did not solve this particular page loading problem. HOWEVER...after following those suggestions, I thought to check the Ublock ad blocker; THAT was the culprit. I added the site to the Exception list for Ublock and it now loads normally and fine. So thanks and problem now solved. Only remaining mystery, in theory, is: why did the site run fine previously with Ublock running? At any rate, thanks very much. Problem now solved.

Whenever you get a message / popup that software / files need to be updated;

DO NOT USE ANY OF PROVIDED LINKS

While this may be a legitimate message, it could also be Malware or a Virus. Anytime you want or need to check for upgrades, go to the website of the True Owner of the program in question. For example, to check out Firefox, go to https://www.mozilla.org

I am using Firefox v54 as my default and had no problem with the link.

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

That was very good work. Well Done.

UBlock updates its data files. Check with them about that.
