Seek to know how to view and to brows html files on Firefox 87 as be able to do in earlier version
I cannot view and brows html files stored in SD card in my android OS tablet after Firefox updated to 87.0.0-rc.1. Earlier version one is only browser to be able to brows and to check appearance of page files. Formerly, I could open and view html files I made stored in SD card in the way bellow;
type address : file:///storage/extsd/(folder name)/index.htm (type enter)
If I cannot solve this problem, I must make up many application programs into Android apps.
Firefox : 87.0.0-rc .1(Build #2015799097)

Hi

Thanks a lot for your answer. As expected, it isn't available... Chrome, Edge also unavailable. Probably owing to security against nasty attack to users, I guess.
Now I step into breach using HTMLviewer bundled in my tablet when I bought it, show steps of solution below.
1. open setup of configurations of my tablet. 2. open view of storage. 3. select 'extsd(volume name of micro SD card)', open the volume, open folders and get to the file. 4. tap the point of the file. 4a. it ask 'What kind of type? TEXT/MUSIC/.....' ; choose 'TEXT'. 5. device displays a dialog, it describes 'open by HTML viewer, current only, usually, other app,....' sorry, setup of my tablet is in Japanese so English terms I describe here could be incorrect. 6. choose 'HTML viewer , current only' ; HTML Viewer may be an Android-native widjet 7. HTML viewer expresses formatted page and linked external images are not displayed. But UIs and texts are deployed as html description, and embed css and javascripts work properly, I barely enough use the file. The session is once and it isn't saved. I make the session last when I'm going to work a long time.
I do in this way even though bothersome.
I come to think that this issue could be interested in permission by functions of Android. My skill as a whole is not enough, so the problem about Android OS is untouchable today.

I didn't notice what browser displayed my html file. I was too absorbed in sustaining the session of some app displaying , so I missed out it. I realized the indication on the top-left corner of the pane of browser when I closed the session. The browser was Chrome. In earlier my post , in item '6', Microsoft Edge was indicated as Other Apps in the dialog, but Chrome wasn't. I don't know the reason why Chrome was invoked at that time.
