I know there are similar threads but their solutions don't work. I bought a new laptop with a new SSD and Windows10. I installed firefox on this new laptop and I made some bookmarks and saved a few passwords.

But on my old laptop I had many bookmarks and many passwords that I don't remember. I want to transfer all the bookmarks and the passwords from the old laptop to the new laptop.

So I took the SSD out from the old laptop and I used it as an external drive to new laptop. One solution for transfering the passwords suggest it that I should copy the entire folder "mozilla" (c:/users/appdata/roaming/mozilla) from the old SSD and replace it to the new SSD.

I did that and it didn't work. I coudn't retrieve the bookmarks and the passwords from the old SSD of the old laptop. I even lost all the bookmarks and the firefox passwords on the new SSD.
