Cannot drag and drop attachments into emails. Using 91.2.0 (64-bit) on Windows 10 desktop

The latest version of Thunderbird mentions that attachments have been improved and you can drag and drop files directly onto the email but that does not work for my installation. I also read that they moved the attachments window area from top right to bottom of email, however mine is still on top right of email and only way to add an attachment is to click "Attach" and using file folder find the file you would like to attach.

I started Thunderbird in diagnose error mode and it found no issues. I also created a new test profile and add one email account but still had the same issue.

I want to turn off "New user interface for adding attachments" as it stops me dragging an image inline into a specific place in my email. How do I do this or do I need to downgrade and turn off auto-upgrading?

I'm in 91.2.1 (32-bit)

Actually I have now worked out how to do this.

1) I have to get my cursor in the right place first (previously I could just drag to the right place provided it was visible on screen).

2) I have to use the "Append Inline" box. If I don't get step (1) right this drops my image at the bottom of the message instead of where I want it.
