How does resetting my account work with Firefox Sync.
So I forgot the password for my account, if I reset it, and therefore reset all of my bookmarks history etc, can I recover them by syncing again with my phone or is the account reset across devices?

Hello, I just tested this now. Resetting your password should not prevent you from accessing your history, bookmarks, etc.

Do you mean I can use Sync to recover them? Because I am pretty sure if you reset your firefox account because you have forgotten your password then everything gets deleted.

COuld I get a yes or no to my question? Because just repeating "It deletes everything" doesn't really answer it.
Sorry, misunderstood the question. I reset my password from within my account rather than the "forgot your password" link.
I tried it again from the "forgot your password" link and it seems that if you have the bookmarks, history, etc saved on your device locally, they will remain there and you can sync them to your other devices. I signed out and then deleted my bookmarks on my desktop but kept them on my iPhone before resetting. I was able to sync them back to my desktop afterwards.
So yes, you can get them back if they are saved locally or if you were using a recovery key.

Only data stored on the Sync server is removed when you reset the password for the Firefox Account, so you will no longer be able to use data currently stored on the Sync server. Data stored locally on a device isn't affected, but you might have to decide in what order you reconnect devices and make sure to let the initial sync finish before connecting another device.
