Frequent authentication and synchronization of Lockwise on IOS devices

Why is it necessary to authenticate Lockwise frequently on my 2 IOS devices? A dozen times in May and 6 times this month. It happens right when I need to use the app and this activity is delayed by having to authenticate and re-synch. Is something wrong or is this a "feature".

Lockwise is no longer supported. I recommend that you have a read of this update:
