Hello, I have seen a clear difference on the text that appears on the website (e.g. BBC Urdu) and same text in search results. I have tried different search engines (Google, Bing) and different browsers (Edge, Vivaldi) but same issue. Attached are the SS of the issue.

I am not sure if this has to do something with my DeepinOS. But would be thankful if can some guidance what to do? Thanks!

Chosen solution

The BBC website uses its own "BBC Reith Qalam" font that is downloaded from the server. Other websites will use a different font that might looks less optimal/pleasing.

You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Fonts tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

Thank you for the answer!

The issue was with my "System font". I was able to find from the Inspect and Fonts tab.

I changed the "System" font on my computer, from "Settings -> Personalization -> Font -> Mono Spaced Font" and changed it to "DejaVu Sans Mono" (attached SS is in Finnish but this is the English version of the path to settings)

It is solved my problem. Thanks a lot for your help, highly appreciated! :)
