Right-click triggers Left-click action.
In my Windows 10 environment Firefox has been working pretty flawlessly forever (well, months anyway). But for several weeks now, periodically when I right-click on a link (context menu click, I have my mouse configured for the left hand) Firefox does the Left-click action. For awhile I thought it was just me, but it's happening too often to be that.
Does anyone know why this is occurring and if it is a know issue? And more importantly, how to fix it.
BTW, there is a similar post from 12/2022:

Hi there,
I understand that you're experiencing an issue with Firefox on your Windows 10 environment where right-clicking on a link triggers the left-click action instead. This behavior has been happening for several weeks, and you're looking for information on why it's occurring and how to fix it.
While I don't have a specific solution to this issue, I can provide some general troubleshooting steps that you can try:
Clear cache and cookies: Go to the Firefox menu, select "Options" or "Preferences," go to the "Privacy & Security" tab, and under the "Cookies and Site Data" section, click on "Clear Data." Make sure to select both "Cookies and Site Data" and "Cached Web Content" and then click "Clear."
Disable extensions: Sometimes, extensions can interfere with the normal functioning of Firefox. Try disabling any extensions you have installed and see if the issue persists. You can do this by going to the Firefox menu, selecting "Add-ons," and then disabling the extensions one by one.
Refresh Firefox: This option allows you to reset Firefox to its default state while preserving your essential data such as bookmarks and passwords. To refresh Firefox, go to the Firefox menu, select "Help," and then choose "Troubleshooting Information." In the Troubleshooting Information page, click on the "Refresh Firefox" button.
Update Firefox: Ensure that you're using the latest version of Firefox. Go to the Firefox menu, select "Help," and then click on "About Firefox." It will check for updates and install them if available.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you can consider posting your question on the Firefox Support Forum. The community members and volunteers there can provide more specific assistance based on their experience and expertise.
I hope this helps, and good luck with resolving the issue!
