Tried to file my Federal and State taxes using Turbo Tax which I have used for years. I am using the Turbo Tax on line app for Windows 11. Was unable to complete the filing because of many error messages. Turbo Tax tax experts suggested I switch to Chrome. I followed their suggestion switch to Chrome and was able to complete the filing of my Federal and States Taxes with no issues.

Why can't we use Firefox to file our Federal and State taxes?

Firefox is just a browser. TT should be able to send online without needing a browser.

Firefox was unable to complete the filing of my Federal and State tax returns with Turbo Tax. When I switched to Chrome the error messages no longer appeared. Then I was able to complete the filing of my Federal and State tax returns. Why does Firefox not process tax information entered using Turbo Tax on line program?

Never heard a browser files your taxes for you. You do that online on IRS site and submit that form. If there is a issue then it probably doesn't recognize that browser to access the site.
