I use T-bird to access several IMAP accounts from gmail. I am currrently unable to delete, rename or create new subfolders. When I select those options in the context menu, nothing appears to happen. I tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling T-bird, which found my accounts and my local folders, but still won't allow me to make folder changes. Any help appreciated.

I run a POP3 account but I was under the impression that, unless the folders trying to be created with in the Local Folders, they are best created in the online account of your Email provider - which then mirrors them on the IMAP TB section. Have you tried this?

That's what I was doing. But I believe I've solved the problem. Win 10 showed I had Full Control over the local folders , but the file attributes were Read Only. I changed that, and the problem appears to be resolved. Why they were Read Only is a mystery to me. They were created from within T-Bird.
