Firefox.exe shortcut no longer working for some reason

more options

Hi, just tried to access Firefox via an existing PC desktop short cut and it said "The item "firefox.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?" Not sure why it's suddenly done this.Should I delete the app via "Add remove" and re-install.

Can you open Firefox from the Application menu (All apps in Windows)? If you can open Firefox from there you can delete the shortcut that is not working and make a new shortcut again.

To add shortcuts to the desktop on Windows: 1. Press and hold (or right-click) the desktop, then select New > Shortcut. 2. Enter the location of the item or select Browse to find the item in File Explorer (Firefox must be under C:\Program Files\...), then select the location and select OK. 3. Select Next, then select Finish.
