How do I password protect an email?

more options

I'm sending an email only to certain people that have the password to open it, but I need to apply the password to the email so that only those people can open it and read it. I thought I was supposed to go to Tools, then Options, then Security to set the password, but I don't find that option any more. I've done it more than once before. It doesn't seem to be available now.

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access web mail, you need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Thunderbird, see this forum for support. http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/support/ or this one http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=39
