How do I return to the earlier version of Firefox from version 4, which is awful?
I loved the previous version of Firefox. Since I downloaded Firefox 4, my Norton is incompatible, my google toolbar has disappeared, and I cannot even insert a URL into new tabs.
How can I return to the previous version of Firefox?

Same probs here! Cannot acces drop-down menus in ebay, it screwed up my email and I can't access links, other stuff too! I thought these guys were reputable? And they want to drop support for the older version? NOT REAL HELPFUL! PLUS, YOU HAVE TO JUMP THRU HOOPWS TO DOWNLOAD OLDER VERSION, INSTEAD of putting access to it on the SAME page as the groovy new FF 4! C'mon guys! Can't you see this thing is not READY yet???? -Al McD.
Thanks for posting. They really blew it. Now back to Internet Exp, so sad. Like with Windows Vista, how could one screw up this way?
I tried version 4 for a while - it messed up my profile and the bookmark toolbar became non-functional. I also disliked the new layout. What a mess. Returned to older version but profile was so damaged I had to create a new one and move components of the old profile to it. Now everything is working as it should be! Thanks 1453 solutions for the link!
I keep getting the blue screen of death; and I don't like the fact that paging back or forward is only one at a time. If I know I need to go back five pages, I don't want to have to wade through the other four.
Thanks. Now I am totally sure it was not just a freak occurrence, something with Vista or my setup, they blew it so bad it's unbelievable. Alas, back to explorer, but I may try the older version.
Agree with all above. Update for the sake of updating! Bookmark menu should always be accessible, history should always be accessible, And I don't like no longer being able to see the security padlock or any continuing downloads in the bottom right hand corner. Ebay's layout is completely screwed up and you can't access its images. Mozilla really messed this up - who tested this anyway?? Back to 3.6 for me...
