A previous user of my computer wiped out all my browsers. I downloaded Firefox to my jump drive and have it on the desktop of the computer. Don't know the next step.

If you downloaded the file from the Mozilla site (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html) then the file should have a .exe file extension. If that isn't the case then rename the file and add a .exe file extension.
