When I type something in the navigation bar, it used to pull up results from google, but now it pulls up results from yahoo. I changed the search bar at the top to google, but it still uses yahoo when I used the navigation bar.

I want Google to be my main search engine when I type something into the navigation bar, not Yahoo. How do I change this back to google?

This worked for me. Thankfully! http://www.groovypost.com/howto/change-firefox-4-address-bar-search-engine-provider/

follow the steps outlined in the post above and it will change the default search engine used if you enter text into the navigation bar. It is a setting in config file. Not difficult, but just follow the 3-4 steps carefully.
