It says my Firefox won't work on my version of OS X, but I had it last week before I reinstalled it. Is there an older version I can download?

I've recently reinstalled my version of OS X version 10.4.11 and after reinstalling Firefox it now says that it's too old. But it's the same version I was using last week.

Is there a version that would work with 10.4.11?

Firefox 5.0.1 won't work with your version of OS X I'm afraid, but there's a third party option which will. Download from here: http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

The TenFourFox version is only for Mac computers with a PowerPC processor, so that won't work for you. The only way is to update to Mac OS X 10.5 or later if you want to use cmore current Firefox versions.

According to this article, you should be able to use Firefox 3.5: http://lowendmac.com/ed/royal/08sr/9-mac-browsers-compared.html

You can download that from here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.5.19/mac/ (choose you're language).
