Installed a new OS, the old OS is still in its own folder, are my bookmarks from firefox lost?

more options

Installed Windows 7, forgot to save my bookmarks as a HTML before doing the install but the Firefox program from my old OS is still saved in Windows.old folder with other programs. Any way of recovering my bookmarks from my old installation onto this current one locating a file from the old firefox installation? Like a .dll file or something else that I could replace in my Firefox folder?

Hope there is a solution for my problem! Best regards Niclas
