How do I make the search box open new results in a new tab? (NOT the address bar but the google search box)

more options

I recently upgraded to the newest version of firefox (6.0.2 or something) but I can't get the google search box next to the address bar to open up new results in a new tab. I used to be able to do that in Firefox 3.6's . Is there a way to fix this problem?

Thanks!
