Why can I no longer print directions using mapquest?
Suddenly, there is no response when I click on the print icon when using mapquest (I quit Explorer several years ago for this reason after it upgraded). Additionally, when I click on a "Format for printing" icon with Fidelity - I no longer get a response.
Chosen solution
I use Classic Mapquest and when I click on the PRINT button on Mapquest, it does nothing, and will not print Mapquest directions. When I try it in the Google Chrome browser, printing the directions works fine.

Can you print if you select from the Firefox menu bar?
File -> Print ...
Yes, I can print from the Firefox menu bar, but only get the turn by turn directions. I can't get the map unless I screen print it and paste.
When I try this I see the map but it is at the bottom of the directions. What is at the bottom of the page to print for you after the "Total Travel Estimate"?
I simply print the first portion of the driving directions (doesn't even print the entire list to the destination).
On any webpage, select File -> Print Preview and set your print options. You may need to select "Shrink-to-fit" and/or "Print background colors and images". Then go to MapQuest and select the option to print a set of directions.
Is the map visible at the bottom of the print-preview page for you after the "Total Travel Estimate"?
Try printing now after having set your print options as above.

Why can't Firefox fix this problem?
I solved the problem by installing an older version (5.0) of Firefox which worked fine. Then I got an automatic upgrade (again). This newest version now also works. I consider the problem solved. I also could use Chrome successfully.
