It does no good to clear your history if the next time you type in a URL address all your previous addresses pop up ? How do you fix that ?

I don't know what else to add. On my previous program, when you cleared your history, the next time you went to type in "www. whatever" nothing popped up. Now I can't get rid of any address I have previously put in my browser ? Whats the point of clearing your history

Hi LarryOdom,

What options did you select when you cleared your history? Take a look at this article that describes what each of the options does when selected. I would be sure the check the time frame as well.

Hopefully this helps!

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.
This will open the Edit This Bookmark dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark.
