I moved it to SD Card, why does it still take 30 MB (and increasing) of internal memory?
I see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=615519 says VERIFIED FIXED that profile data should be moved to the SD card along with the application, and about:cache says cache should only be taking 10240, but Android reports it as taking 30 MB of internal storage (1.75 MB app, the rest for data).
When I went into about:config and set browser.cache.disk.capacity to 5120, Android reported 25 MB usage. Still there's 20 MB unaccounted for. What can I do?
(I'm running Aurora Nightly, 17.0a2 2012-09-24 on a plain HTC Desire with Cyanogenmod)

That is not Firefox for Android. That is the older XUL based mobile browser that development was halted on around Firefox 10.

Hey, If you don't need all the data that your profile is storing you can go to Application- Aurora/Nightly - clear data.
The application (either is on SD or not) will use internal memory to run.
Yeah, I've done clear data, it just means I have to go through the sync profile thing again to get my browser history and bookmarks back, and then I'm back to square one ;-)
The profile is not moved off the phone due to it storing passwords, cookies and other information.
That's confusing. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=615519 links to a push https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/70f37cb8fdde which, from a cursory browsing of https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/file/ed5f37774104/embedding/android/GeckoAppShell.java#l270 , still seems to be in there. Is there a bug report that notes where it was reverted?

Doh. OK, thanks for clearing that up. Guess I'll have to live with the profile size for now :-/
