When working in Word, why isn't the old page deleted automatically when I rename it?

When I rename a page and "Save (it) as" the new name, the old page is kept in the files. Then I have two copies of the same page, with different names. It seems as though the old page should disappear by default, but it doesn't. Can I change a setting to fix this?

hello treplag, this is a support forum for questions about the firefox web browser, so we probably can't solve your issue - as far as i know the behaviour you described is the expected default behaviour for ms office applications & i don't know of any way to change that - but you'd probably have to contact microsoft or a specialised support forum for office to get a definitive answer...

Hello, madperson -- Too bad, but it isn't that big of a deal. Assuming you are not what your name implies, I will take your word for it. :-) Thanks for responding.
