Hi, Just did a total rebuild including new hard drive. Running Windows 8.1 and Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 with Firefox 32.0. Firefox keeps freezing up or crashing very regularly. Do you know of any issues involving this software combination? Had no real issues on my old system running Windows 7, Comodo Internet Security and Firefox. Have removed 'Hardware acceleration' in internet options and made no difference. Ta,

Hi gregny1, Many versions ago Bit defender crashed, but since the update is happens rarely. A clean reinstall may help with the hangs, but please also see Firefox hangs or is not responding - How to fix if it hangs after certain steps.

It could also be Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL

When you rebuilt the system did Program Files/Firefox/profiles.... get erased as well?
