How can I replace Google by a blank page on new tabs by default? The advice in the articles doesn't work.

Hello,
Go to your about:config page and modify the preference browser.newtab.url, if you want a blank page you can set it to about:blank.
In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps:
- In the Location bar, type about:config and press Enter. The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.
- Click I'll be careful, I promise! to continue to the about:config page.
