I think we need to reach or contact add-ons writers to tell them their add-ons need uptade. But we can not reach them their add-ons gone forever. You need to create contact button so that we can email them or left a message for them.

Thank you

Add-on developers have the option of providing information for users for Add-on home page [if the developer has their own website], Support site [if they have their own or a "support thread" somewhere], and Support E-mail in the template in the console at the Add-ons website. Many provide some of that information, while others don't. Many skip the E-mail address when they have their own website where that info might be posted, or they have their own support forum where users help other users, much like this Firefox Questions forum.

Here's one add-on that has all three types of information. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/web2pdf-converter/

I have been around Firefox for 12 years now [don't believe the recent 10 year celebration hype, that was for the release of Firefox 1.0 - there were 9 zero-point versions before 1.0 with 7 under the Phoenix and Firebird names] and I have been through 5 or 6 rounds of extensions being "abandoned" by their original developer due to changes made in Firefox that rendered their extension "broken" or with some broken features. Some of those survive by being "adopted" by someone else, but the vast majority go to "software heaven" to rest in peace. It's part of the "cycle of life" - and taxes might be included in that cycle if the developer was accepting donations for their add-on.

If your concern is for a particular extension, we may be able to suggest an alternative replacement, if you tell us which one "you miss".
