I can't view/open attachments unless I use the option "view in classic reader". This is very unhandy. Any ideas on how to fix? Version 31.3.0

I use Thunderbird (Ver 31.3.0) for several email accounts and on my main account only, it rarely shows the attachments in the email. There used to be a button to click on to either "preview", "open", or "save" ("preview" option is only for pdf attachments). That whole menu bar is gone. But only on my main account, the other accounts all work okay. The only way that I've found to be able to get to the attachment is to use the "view using the classic reader". Then I have to click on the attachment and it downloads it and opens it up. I'd like to get the options back without having to do all the extra clicking to get to the attachments.

Thanks!

That sounds like the conversations add-on. Is it?

Yes, when I disable the conversations add-on, I can then get to the attachment...but I like the conversations add-on otherwise and it used to handle the attachments just fine.

It's evidently an issue that began with Ver. 31. The add-on logic supposedly never changed...but it seems to be a problem when using IMAP and you're not downloading the emails locally. Once I changed that setting, it works again like it used to. I just wish I didn't have to download them locally to make it work.
