We have several PC's connected to the same account (IMAP), there is a server-off error and works only one computer at a time.
We have three computers to check the same email account (IMAP) and when more than one is working and try to send a mail message appears:. "Server has disconnected geral@spurb.com The server may have gone down or there may be a network problem. " Just off the thunderbird on other computers, with only a computer connected to the error disappears and everything works fine. When this happens, sometimes gives error while sending an email, "error saving the message in Sent" and the mail is not stored in the thunderbird or on the server, but is sent.

Tools menu > account settings > server settings > asvanced and reduce the number of connections from 5 to say 2 and see how it goes. I m assuming the total connection on the total machines is the issue so reducing then should help.
Seriously having multiple concurrent users is not a good way to manage an imap account.

Some misguided email operators allow only one connection to an account at a time. (I had one like this myself, and to add insult to injury, when you disconnected, you weren't logged off from the server for up to 15 minutes later, so you couldn't just switch to another computer immediately.)
Who provides your email service? If you don't know how to answer this question, try Help|Troubleshooting Information, clear "Include account names", click "Copy text to clipboard" and paste (right-click|paste, or ctrl+v) into your reply here.
This problem just started about 2 months, before worked fine. This is an email from paid domain. In our case so that we close the program in the other pc's, close and open the Tunderbird and is working well immediately.
