I just reset my waterfox browser. I can't find a restore to return to the old browser settings that I had. What do I do to change it back?

I kept getting prompted that my Waterfox was slow and that I should refresh it. I opened the help article and read it. It said that if I refreshed it Waterfox would save my old stuff. It said it would put it in a folder somewhere that I could restore if I didn't like the refresh. I have refreshed Waterfox and nothing was saved! Bookmarks, web pages I was viewing, extensions, nothing! How do I get it back?

I need to start by saying that I know Waterfox is similar to Firefox, but if our advice based on how Firefox works doesn't seem to apply to Waterfox, you will need to follow up on the Waterfox forums.

Can you find a folder on your desktop named Old Firefox Data? If so, is there a folder inside with a recent modification date? Normally, that would contain all your old settings. I've posted a suggested "undo" procedure here: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1055439#answer-712774
