I have to disable Norton extension to download Windows 8 apps.

This is probably a Norton settings issue but I have FF set as default browser, when I download an from windows 8 store it goes to "pending" and stays there. If I disable Norton extension and re-download it works fine but I am leery of turning Norton on & off to get my apps.

Sorry, that isn't a Firefox support issue. Norton support is over here: https://support.norton.com/
