Error: cannot open display: :0.0 - firefox in centos
Dear Team , I am getting following error when i am trying to open firefox from cents operating system, How can fix the issue.
Error : Error: cannot open display Command executed : firefox &
Fire fox installed using below site : http://linuxg.net/how-to-install-firefox-35-0-1-on-linux-systems/
Try to fix the the display issue as per the below site but no use.

Hi azahrudhin, It looks like the stackoverflow thread was solved by setting the global DISPLAY variable. Did this also work for your issue here?
