Trash not emptying. I highlight "Empty trash," but nothing happens. How can I get it to empty the trash? I have more than 6,000 emails that need to be deleted.

Are you trying to empty the trash on an email website, or in the Thunderbird program?
(For what it's worth, 6,000 seems like a large number of items to delete and it may well take some time to process.)
