firefox gets scrambled
Firefox is getting scrambled. No problems with safari or chrome. I have reinstalled AND disabled hardware acceleration and restarted. Still freezes up and is scrambled for a minute or so and then is fine... 2 minutes later, same thing.
osx 10.6.8 xserve 2008
Used this computer for years with firefox and problem is only recent, with no apparent changes in software.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac Options) key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
I have also tried safe mode. Same problem. I have also now cleared all history, cookies, cache, etc. Still happening.
I have found that if a window scrambles and I create a new window (command-N) then it goes away....
Hardly a fix though...

- 2 Uninstall Firefox from your computer {web link}
DO NOT remove your profiles. - 3 After, reboot the computer. Then run the full installer.
