can you retrieve an email from emptied trash?
I accidentally deleted an email, them emptied the trash folder and need to get it back...please help..thank you

As you have emptied the Trash then it will not be in that folder. Please do not compact any folder as it will remove any traces of 'marked as deleted' emails from the original folder.
What folder was the email originally in before you deleted it? Is this a POP or IMAP mail account? If IMAP: Do you synchronise your subscribed folders so that you have a copy stored in thunderbird profile folders?
