How do I install FF and TB on other than the C: drive?
I am trying to install FF and TB on a Windows 7 computer, today, 10/27/15. I started with FF and made certain that the install stub was downloaded to the D: drive. The C: and D: drives are separate physical drives. The stub is for FF ver. 41.0.2. Nevertheless, it installed on the C: drive.
I read the two articles that would seem to be responsive to my question but they do not work for me because the install stub does not offer an option to choose custom install and it does not offer an option to choose a destination drive.
I am using a different computer while askin this question. I changed the educated guesses as best I could. I am trying to install on a Windows 7 64 bit computer.

If the stub installer didn't offer an Options for a Custom installation, use the full installer - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ - That's all I have ever used, and I do a Custom location all the time.
Keep in mind that regardless which logical / physical drive either Firefox or Thunderbird is installed on, the bulk of their respective files will be installed in /AppData/Roaming/ on the drive where the operating system is installed. That's where the Profiles will be set up. There are ways around that, but it can get involved depending how you go about it and other specific requirements. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2821799

You can do a custom install to specify the location where you want to install a specific application.
You can try to full installer if the stub installer isn't working.
You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (41.0.2) in all languages and all operating systems here:

Thanks for the quick reply.
This works for Thunderbird also.
For anyone interested, when I searched for TB install I used the term, "Thunderbird full intaller" and the the .exe file that was downloaded also provided a custom install option.
