I have set an email account to bcc a specific email address (to be able to add the email content to a crm) but was wondering for those emails that I dont want to go to that bcc, is there any quicker way of removing the bcc field without having to put the cursor in the field are and manually delete it with the backspace?

Many thanks

Jamie

I use an addon that adds an 'x' to each address box. Maybe this one:

All of my favourite and most-used add-ons come from other users' recommendations. I'm not imaginative enough to work out what enhancements would suit me, nor to find the right words to search for them. I even have trouble re-locating add-ons I already have when trying to recommend them myself.

lmao that sounds a bit like me!

thank you so much for your help mate

Zenos, quick question. You wouldnt happen to use a better search add on than is avaialble out of the box would you?

I like this one, but it only works fully when used inside a folder. We could do with something similar for the global search too.

I particularly like the regular expression capabilities it brings. Date ranges can be useful too, which I was reminded of by another poster asking if Thunderbird can do a jump-to search when you start typing.

thanks for that...I had found that one and also noted its limitation. Just thought there might be a better alternative to the global search

many thanks again
