How can I prevent Microsoft Edge opening when I edit a document in my Google Drive
Hello, thanks for your attention. I am using Windows 10. Recently started using Mozilla browser and e-mail client. Have not been able to remove Microsoft Edge. I have removed Microsoft Mail and Microsoft Internet Explorer. My documents are in Google drive. Opening a document from my local hard disk Google Drive; by default does so in Microsoft Edge. I want it to open in Thunderbird instead. Opening a GoogleDrive document from the cloudserver through Thunderbird; is done as I want it.

But this is not the forum for discussing browser issues.
This is the 'Thunderbird' forum.
re :My documents are in Google drive. What do you mean by 'My documents' ? Google drive is a cloud based storage, so it will store a variety of 'documents'.
Thunderbird is an email client, so it opens or creates emails. You create mail accounts that link to the servers that receive the emails.
If Thunderbird is set as default email client on your computer, it will open stored .eml email files.
