Doesn't Remember History After Closing
For few days now, Firefox clear all history(including downloads) whenever I close it. I checked if, for whatever reasons, the case for clearing history upon closing Firefox was checked in Options and it isn't.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
