Mouse right click not displaying Image options , when images are disabled
Hi, Am a long time user of Mozilla firefox.
Am using a low bandwidth broadband, hence i use to disable the images in my web page and after the page gets loaded. i will enable the image settings.
Then i go to the web page , right click on the image links and click "reload images " or "view images" options, which helped me a lot to see only the images that i want, restricting other unwanted images.
for the past 1 week, may be due to the latest auto upgrade of mozilla browser, web page is not displaying the image links and mouse right click option is not showing any options to "reload image" or "view image".
hence am left with the only option to load all the images unwantedly, eating my bandwidth and slowing the working speed. can you pls help me to revert to my previous browser setting where the right click option on a web page show the "reload image" and "view image" options, when the image loading is restricted.
thanks, srini.

You can look at extensions like these::
- Image Block: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/image-block/
- ImgLikeOpera: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/imglikeopera/
- QuickImage: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/quickimage/
Hi, thanks for your reply. I guess ImgLikeOpera may work, but in the review I found that it leads to frequent firefox crashes. I don't want to create a new problem while fixing a existing problem.
My point is everything is fine till 4 days back, and suddenly after a latest firefox auto update , it changed the firefox setting which led to this problem where am facing
- placeholders for blocked images (hi, LJ treads!); ARE NOT VISIBLE in browser
- (re)load image from context menu or Ctrl+rightMouseClick; is not working
can you pls suggest how to revert to the old firefox configuration to see the placeholders for blocked images .
thanks, srini.
