What reasons do you have to download and install such a old version.

Since you are on Windows then you can also consider to use the portable Firefox version.

You can install a portable (ESR) Firefox version to access websites that do not work with the current Firefox release. The portable version comes with its own profile folder and doesn't interfere with currently installed Firefox versions.

The https://ftp.mozilla.org is not a ftp link as that was ftp://ftp.mozilla.org. There no longer a FTP anymore as the ftp:// protocol on ftp.mozilla.org was turned off as of Aug 5, 2015.
