just opened firefox and all my tabs are gone due to update
just got home and opened up Firefox, my previous session was gone, with this new update, some of the tabs have been opened for months, and i cant find them in history , is there any chance of getting them back ?

Hi,
Sorry to hear that, usually after an update you tabs and windows will be restored automatically. For your concern i must suggest that you copy the URL of your website before proceeding with the update to ensure that you have the back up of the site you opened.

You can check in Windows Explorer if there is a previous version of the sessionstore.js file available.
- Right-click: Properties > Previous Versions
You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
